Recent years have caused us to retreat and isolate in the safety of out homes and our inner worlds. With a sense of awakening, I am ready to connect to the world and its imagery in a different way.
I find myself considering the stories of our lives, our perceived viewpoints, and the dynamics of mores, expectations and roles.
I continue to explore layers and coverings: shifting surfaces expose new ones, which expose others, which shift again and reveal more. Different interconnected and connecting surfaces impact interpretations and understandings of what appears solid, safe, permanent.
